Francesco Pradella, University of Florence

Francesco Pradella MD DDS MSc DipFHID MFFLM is a professional forensic odontologist, tutor in the master course in Forensic odontology at the Departmental Section of Forensic Medical Sciences, University of Firenze, Italy and the former General Secretary of the International Organization of Forensic Odonto-Stomatology (IOFOS). He completed his medical degree at the University of Padova, Italy, in 1981, his dental degree at the University of Verona, Italy, in 1984, the Master in Forensic Odontology at the University of Firenze, Italy, in 2008, the diploma course of Forensic Human Identification at the Academy of Forensic Sciences (Prof. Vanezis) at QMUL in London. He is a Member of the Faculty of Forensic and Legal Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians, London, UK. He has been involved in damage evaluation cases and in forensic odontology cases since 1985 as a consultant for insurance companies, private or public institutions. He regularly acts as expert consultant in criminal and civil court cases involving the different fields of forensic odontology. He is co-author of forensic odontology and legal medicine textbooks, several scientific articles and lectures nationally and internationally.
